White Pigeon, Mich. (CNN) – A mother is facing a string of felony charges after authorities say she lead police on a high-speed chase with her five-year-old daughter on her lap.
Officials believe the woman was high on cocaine when it happened.
“I don’t know what happened yesterday. I just prayed and prayed and prayed and I woke up here,” said the suspect Aubrey Coy.
While the suspect may not remember, witnesses tell us the high speed chase the 34-year-old led police on is something she’ll never forget. She got out of her vehicle, she had her child in her arms, she tripped in the road and fell to the pavement. Coy holding her 5-year-old in the back seat.

“I don’t know if anyone knows what the real motivation was, she was under the influence of drugs.”

She started to pull away, trooper Barry tried to turn off the car, she sped away. Leading the trooper on a 5 mile chase at speeds of 75 miles an hour holding her daughter in her lap and waving her middle finger out the window.
Constantine Police Department was able to use stop sticks, deflated two of her tires but Coy still doesn’t stop until a rim falls from the car.
Now trying to run with the little girl in her arms. It took four cops, who she fought with the whole way, swearing and screaming as police arrest her. Cocaine was in Coy’s system and in the car.
The mother now charged with more than half a dozen felonies from drugs to child abuse.
