Looking for a new fitness challenge?  Elizabeth Lenart, a personal trainer from showed us Tabata Training.

About Tabata Training:
     A “max interval” or a Tabata is 8 rounds of 20 seconds of working as hard as you safely can then 10 seconds of rest, for a total of 4 minutes.
A “mixed interval” is when we use two different exercise, for example, with the same timing as above.
You can also do 40-30 20 timing. We work for hard for 40 seconds, rest for 20; work harder for 30 seconds, rest for 15; work hardest for 20 seconds, then rest for 10. This is tough!
The program is NOT just to make the fit fitter! We all have a starting point. It is co-ed. All ages and sizes are welcome!
