Man beaten, cash stolen in Monson home invasion

MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) – Police in Monson are on the lookout for three suspects following a home invasion in town early Tuesday morning.

Chief Stephen Kozloski told 22News that they were called to the victim’s Palmer Road apartment around 1:30 A.M. The victim told police he was sleeping when three men kicked in the door of the apartment and confronted him in his bedroom.

Kozolski says that the man was beaten and robbed of hundreds of dollars in cash, as well as his cell phone.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of head and face injuries.

The chief says that police are following up on several leads in the case.
