According to a news release sent to 22News by State Police Media Relations, Angel Robles, 31, of Lowell, and Florida resident Julio Diaz Morales, 31, were arrested by troopers at around 1:45 A.M.

State police say that a trooper pulled-over the car that Robles was driving, which had been traveling on I-84 eastbound. The trooper determined that neither Robles nor Morales, his passenger, were licensed to drive the vehicle. Robles was then taken into custody.

Police say they then found a package of white powder in the car; a powder they determined to be 135 grams of cocaine.

Both men are charged with trafficking in cocaine and conspiracy to violate the drug laws. Robles faces additional charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to inspect. They were both arraigned later in the morning at Dudley District Court.
