4th suspect arrested in 2013 Holyoke homicide

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Holyoke Police arrested the fourth suspect in connection to the 2013 homicide of Juan S. Quinones of Springfield.

Holyoke Police Lt. Jim Albert told 22News that detectives arrested 24-year-old Jose Rodriguez, aka Bugout, in Springfield on March 30th. Rodriguez was arraigned in Holyoke District Court early Monday.

Last week, three other men were charged with the murder of 34-year-old Quinones; 37-year-old Roland Colon of Ware, 26-year-old Joshua Santos of Springfield, and 21-year-old Jose Santiago of Holyoke.

Quinones was shot several times on June 2, 2013 near the intersection of Cabot and South Summer Streets in Holyoke.

Holyoke Detectives were assisted by Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office and State Troopers assigned to the Violent Fugitive Apprehension Unit.
