SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A car crashed into the northbound guard rail on Interstate 91 in Springfield early Sunday morning.
Another car came along rear ending it according to State Police Lt. Daniel Richard.
The driver of that car ran away and when state police found that driver, 27-year-old Julio Perez of Springfield, they charged him with operating under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
Two people were taken to the hospital, 57-year-old Sterling Hall of Springfield the driver of that first car, and 22-year-old Kyle Clini of Ludlow. He was a pedestrian on the highway.
