Arnold Schwarzenegger, Olivia Williams, Sam Worthington
CHICOPEE, Mass (WWLP) — When Arnold Schwarzenegger said “I’ll be back”, he meant he’s still be bulking up when most baby boomers were ready for retirement. “Sabotage” provides Schwarzenegger with the best role in his current comeback.
He heads up a crack DEA team of drug cartel busters on a nerve wracking assignment.
Apparently Schwarzenegger’s term as California governor did his acting some good. He’s the hard boiled head of a slightly dysfunctional drug enforcement unit that takes no prisoners. But he might have stolen a fortune in drug money.
If you’re looking for a blood soaked, super violence action thriller, Schwarzenegger will not “Sabotage” your plans. “Sabotage” is a vast improvement over the kind of cartoon style adventures Arnold’s been appearing in lately.
He wisely surrounds himself with a fine cast that gets into the spirit of this lusty bloodbath.
Did I mention how violent the action becomes in “Sabotage”? Of course I did, and it’s worth mentioning again.
“Sabotage” will not upset your plans for a slightly twisted, hairy-chested night at the movies. Not with “Sabotage” detonating three stars.
I know drug enforcement movies are getting repetitious, but Arnold makes it entertaining taking one more run at the cartels.
