Police searching for Boston Rd. bank robber

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield Police need your help identifying a bank robbery suspect.

Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney told 22News that the suspect walked into the TD Bank at 1800 Boston Road just after 5:00 Wednesday night, and handed the teller a note demanding money.

No weapon was shown, and the man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He is described as a white man between 30 and 40 years old, and is about 5’6” tall, with a stocky build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a tan coat, prescription glasses, a skull cap, jeans, and white sneakers.
