Springfield Police investigating death on Agnes Street

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Police in Springfield are calling the death on Agnes Street on Sunday an “unattended” death.

Police were called to a home at 48 Agnes Street just before 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon.

Springfield Police Captain Mark Anthony told 22News one person died and the Detective Bureau is trying to figure out how it happened.

Agnes Street is part of the city’s East Forest Park neighborhood.

No other details have been given out.
