Vermont woman arrested in Holyoke on drug charges

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – A large shipment of heroin allegedly headed to Vermont got no further than Holyoke.

State police made the most of a routine traffic stop on Interstate 91 North in Holyoke.

Trooper Noah Pack confiscated 1400 packets of heroin when he arrested 41 year old Nicole Farone of South Wallingford, Vermont.

She was allegedly taking the heroin to Vermont to sell the deadly drug,  when the trooper stopped her car for a minor traffic infraction.
