WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The West Springfield Public Library has settled into its temporary home at the old Immaculate Conception School.
The nearly 100 year old library at Park and Elm Streets will undergo a $16 million facelift over the next year and a half
The temporary library at the former Catholic school opened Monday. Library patrons told 22News, they’ll enjoy coming here.
Peter Vitkovskiy of West Springfield said, “Oh it’s very good, it’s not bad at all. I like the space that we have and the various resources available hear as well.”
The West Springfield library renovations begin next month.
