(KARE) A St. Paul, Minnesota landmark came down with a boom Sunday morning.
The 10-story Island Station, with its 180-foot smokestack, was razed with explosives.
“It came down safely,” said Eric Kelly with Idaho-based Advanced Explosives Demolition. “But there is some sadness when you see architecture from the 1920s come down.”
