(NBC News) An early morning earthquake sent shock waves across Los Angeles.
The 4.4 magnitude jolt woke some people up and sent others running for cover, but luckily no damage or injuries have been reported.
The quake hit at 6:25 local time this morning, providing a shaky wake-up-call for millions across Los Angeles.
The earthquake was the first significant rattle in Los Angeles in more than five years.
