Search continues for Rebecca Streeter in Greenfield

GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Family, friends and total strangers gathered on Sunday behind the Greenfield Center School to search for a woman who’s been missing since February 25th.

They broke up into small groups and headed into the woods to search for Rebecca Streeter. They searched in a grid pattern, and then marked the area when they were done.

Rebecca was last seen at her apartment in Greenfield. Her daughter went into the bedroom and found her car keys, wallet, and cell phone, but not Rebecca.

The searching has taken an emotional toll on the family. Searchers included a professional psychic and a man with a trained dog.

John Lankarge of Montague, who brought the trained dog to the search told 22News, “We started out on the bike path. She led me down a gully and to an abandoned house. There was something there that picked up the scent on, but we’re not sure.”

“Today was just a matter of literally just searching the woods as people. Using our intuition and our eyes and our feelings,” said Lisa Lanno, a psychic from South Hadley.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Rebecca Streeter, call the Greenfield Police Department at 413-773-5411.
