CHICOPEE, Mass (WWLP) – Allow me to share my concern about a very stupid movie called “Need For Speed”. A film meant to Inspire Impressionable moviegoers to be Irresponsible behind the wheel.
Then reversing Itself with a phony disclaimer warning that Illegal street racing could actually be dangerous.
Hot shot speed demon Aaron Paul no speed limit stand in his way as he rushes cross country for the Grand Prix of illegal races.
With lovely but dimwitted traveling companion Imogen Poots, the grand master of speed guns there motor for the longest car commercial in movie history.
He’s too busy being on line with the demented Grand Prix Guru, Michael Keaton to pay much attention about keeping his eyes on the road.
This moronic movie preaches the most obnoxious rules of roadway etiquette. let nothing stand in your way to maintain supremacy no matter where you’re traveling. And to think the film’s produced by Dreamworks, Steven Spielberg’s studio, shame on him.
Better yet, seems like a scene out of the most outrageously dumb movie so far this year.
Bad enough we’ve got the “fast and furious” franchise to deaden our brains, now we’ve got “Need for Speed”.
Which goes nowhere with only one star. That’s because movies just don’t get any more trashy than “Need for Speed”.
