Scott Brown to run for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire

NASHUA, N.H. (WWLP) – Scott Brown is making another run for U.S. Senate, this time in New Hampshire.

The former Massachusetts Republican Senator made the announcement late Friday afternoon at the Northeast Republican Leadership Conference in New Hamsphire.  Brown said he has formed an exploratory committee to prepare for a campaign against first-term Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen.

“Gail and i will be traveling around this great state to introduce ourselves,to ask questions, and to speak with everyone of every background, republicans, independents, and democrats alike and above all to listen  and learn all of your concerns,” Brown said.

The announcement also means Brown will no longer work for Fox News Channel.  Fox deals are ended if paid contributors take formal steps toward running for office.
