10 Tips to Help Your Teen Manage Their Stress

Don’t underestimate their levels of stress
Fit in some 1:1 time. Teens often open up either while driving in the car or before bed
Listen, listen, listen. It is often more important to be heard than to be right!
Exercise together
Eat dinner together as a family
Monitor their sleep (need 8-91/2 hours)
Laugh together
Manage your own stress in a healthy way
Limit electronics and have phones charge out of their rooms during the night
Seek help from a professional
