Police arrest man for the 32nd time

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)- A Hartford man is being held on $800,000 bond after police arrested  him for the 32nd time.

33-year-old Travale Givens was arrested on Friday, March 7, 2014 on multiple charges including criminal possession of a firearm, obliterated serial number, and possession of narcotics.

Police say they found a Ruger .380 pistol with a scratched off serial number, and 81 grams of crack cocaine inside Givens’ home at 129 South Street. Along with the drugs they found scales, bags, mixers, and cutting agents.

Givens was found the same day on Airport Road trying to get rid of an additional 247 grams of cocaine, or ¼ kilogram.

Givens is a convicted felon and had 31 prior Hartford arrests to include several narcotics violations, and an Assault in the 1st degree.
