Inflatable pool stolen in West Springfield

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP)-  Police are looking for two men who stole an inflatable pool from a West Springfield store Sunday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m. Sunday, two men went into Leslie’s Swimming Pool Supplies on Memorial Avenue, according to Captain Michael Banas of the West Springfield Police Deparment.

Captain Banas said the two men started dragging a 15 foot inflatable pool that was worth about $500 dollars out of the store.

When the clerk asked if they needed help, one of the men pulled out a handgun and said we got it, Banas said.

The two men left in an unknown direction with the pool, Banas said.

Both men are described as having light colored skin, around 5′ 5” tall, with a thin build.  Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to call the West Springfield Police Department at (413) 263-3210.
