Inflatable pool heist captured on video

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two men who allegedly pointed a gun at a store clerk and stole an inflatable pool from a West Springfield store have had their images captured on video.

West Springfield police released the surveillance footage from Sunday’s armed theft at the Leslie’s Pool Supplies store on Memorial Avenue.

Captain Michael Banas of the West Springfield Police Department told 22News that around 4:00 Sunday evening, two men went into the store, and started dragging an inflatable pool out of the building. When an employee asked if they needed help, one of the men pointed a gun at the worker, saying “we got it.”

The 15′ Intex pool was worth approximately $500.
Police are now hoping that the surveillance video can help lead them to those responsible for the theft. Play the video for a look at the suspects.
