High Speed Chase Through Three Towns

Mass. (WWLP)- One man has been arrested after a high speed chase took police through three towns.

State police Sgt. Michael Andrews told 22news that the chase started at approximately 12:25 a.m. on Route-291 when a trooper attempted to stop the vehicle for a routine traffic violation.

The chase took police through Agawam, West Springfield and Springfield until it ended when the driver crashed on south end bridge.

According to Sgt. Andrews, Two passengers that were in the car were not seriously hurt and have been released.

Police believe the driver did not pull over because of an active arrest warrant out of New York State.
