Springfield firefighters put out a house fire in the Mason Square neighborhood this morning.  Fire Department Spokesman Dennis Leger told 22News…this fire started just after 6:30 on the third floor of a three story home at 138 Dunmoreland Street. Leger says the third floor is not a residential floor and was vacant at the time…but three people living on the second floor were able to make it out safely.
They’re being assisted by the Red Cross this morning.
