BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A grandmother of four who sold prescription painkillers will spend the next seven years in prison.

Geraldine Horsefall pleaded guilty to drug possession charges on Monday. The 59-year-old grandmother bought drugs off of Michelle King and then sold the pills on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation.

King also pleaded guilty on Monday to drug sale charges. The 42-year-old Akron woman took Loritab from the doctor’s office where she worked as a nurse and would then sell them. King will be sentenced at a later date.

Both Horsefall and King were arrested after an 18-month operation by the state Attorney General’s Office that led to the arrest of 25 people, including a cook at TGI Friday’s in Buffalo who sold cocaine and others who were involved in a cockfighting ring.
