Once treatment is over, cancer survivors cope with their new life in different ways – and support from fellow cancer survivors can be incredibly beneficial.

Welcoming Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to Western Mass
The event will feature keynote speaker Dr Jay Burton (a leukemia and stem cell transplant survivor). Dr Burton will discuss his cancer journey and his vision of establishing a primary care cancer survivorship program for the Greater Springfield area for all cancer survivors.
A complimentary dinner will be provided by EB’s Restaurant of Agawam, Massachusetts to all attendees.
At this kickoff event, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in conjunction with Springfield Medical Associates, will also be announcing the establishment of a monthly adult blood cancer support group scheduled to begin Thursday April 24, 2014 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm also to take place at St .John’s Church Parish Center.
