GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Spring can’t be too far off now that the town of Greenfield has completed its season of winter farmers markets.
The monthly markets have been held at Greenfield High School. Franklin County farmers again had a ready market for their seasonal produce in this makeshift market place at the high school.
It was a satisfying event for customers and farmers alike.
Joanne Ramundo, a fan of these farmers markets, told 22News, “I’m just happy there’s a farmer market in winter, you can get this good stuff and I want to support local farmers.”
“So far so good, I didn’t think it would be as crazy as that, probably great turnout today,” said Franklin County farmer Sarah Hape.
Greenfield High School will again host the next farmers market on April 26th, when it will no longer be winter.
