CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Western Massachusetts is not alone with its severe pothole problems this year.
According to an NBC report, many municipalities call this the worst pothole season ever, in terms of blown tires and bent rims caused by potholes.
Ewen Burrell of Springfield said that the damage has been costly for her.
“Nine hundred dollars, I fell in a pothole and I’m still going crazy all over the place,” said Burrell.
According to the AAA, pothole’s usually cost drivers six and a half billion dollars every year, but this winter it’s costing even more.
