GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – We’re only about 20 days away from the first official day of spring, but with the bitter temperatures we’ve had this winter, spring might not get here fast enough. 22News found out how Franklin County residents are dealing with this cold.
Franklin County has seen 3 major snow storms in the month of February alone, and with another storm possibly on the way, it seems like winter may never end.
One resident told 22News that despite the extreme cold and snow, there are still some good things about winter.
“Winter’s a child’s season. It’s fun times. all the kids get to miss school, build snowmen. Got to stay positive and look for the plus side of things,” said Keef Yagovane.
This winter has been harsh for most of the United States. Even the southeast got their fair share of snow and freezing temperatures.
The first official day of spring is March 20th, less than a month away.
