PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) – A young singer from western Massachusetts who is putting himself through college by performing hundreds of gigs a year has been chosen as a contestant on NBC’s hit show “The Voice.”
Noah Lis of Palmer was chosen to move on during a blind audition show which aired Tuesday night.
Lis sang the 1972 Billy Paul soul hit “Me and Mrs. Jones” during Tuesday’s program, to the cheers of the crowd. Both judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton decided that they wanted Lis for the competition, and Lis chose to be a part of “Team Blake.”
