LEOMINSTER, Mass. (AP) — Police in Massachusetts have arrested a New Hampshire man they allege committed one bank robbery and was planning another.

State police on Sunday morning captured 43-year-old Eric Lord of Greenville, N.H., in Leominster.

Authorities allege that Lord robbed a TD Bank branch in New Ipswich, N.H., on Friday.

State police think Lord was planning to rob a bank in the Leominster-Fitchburg area.Police say Lord was found at a commercial property “prior to his having the opportunity to carry out the additional robbery.”

He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Massachusetts on a fugitive from justice charge. It’s not clear if he has a lawyer.

He currently faces no charges in Massachusetts, but the investigation is ongoing.
