Family rallies in Springfield for murder victim

Julian Cartie

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – It’s been five years since Julian Cartie, a national guardsman from New Britain, Connecticut, was shot and killed on Main Street in Springfield.  Saturday night, family and friends will be rallying on Main Street for justice.

Cartie’s family tells us they hope the rally will bring closure to the case. Five years later, and the murder has still not been solved. The 22News I-Team obtained some exclusive surveillance video from the night Cartie was murdered.

Springfield Police are asking for anyone with information to give them a call at 413-787-6310.
