SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Not having enough heat is such a vital concern for so many here in western Massachusetts, but a local health agency has offered to provide additional help.
Tapestry Health says that it will help those who need more assistance than they’re now getting, with up to $500 in aid.
Heather Sumowski and Kyla Surdyka of Chicopee said that they are helped by the Valley Opportunity Council in Holyoke, but they told 22News that it’s not enough.
“It would mean a lot right now. I’m behind on my electric bill and I haven’t received any fuel from the OC, It would help me out allot,” Surdyka said. “It would help me out with my groceries, my children. It would help out so much.”
