HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – February isn’t just a month of multiple snow storms, it’s also Heart Month, when we’re advised to focus on living a healthier lifestyle for the good of our heart.
Every Sunday during February, Baystate Medical Center’s Healthier Heart programs fill its Holyoke education center. This Sunday was no different.
Heart conscious men and women from all over Western Massachusetts came to hear about altering our DNA through better diet and exercise. Frances Rumore of Suffield, Connecticut told 22News, the seminar was worth the trip.
“The exercise part that she mentioned is important and I plan to realize that,” said Rumore. “It’s difficult but I’m going to try.”
This was the last in the series of heart hearth seminars Baystate Medical Center conducts each February.
