GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Crews have been out clearing, but the roads in Franklin County still have quite a good bit of snow on them.
Greenfield Department of Public Works truck have been trying to get the roads clear for those people making a commute Friday morning.
In downtown Greenfield, a few people were out early snowblowing the sidewalk in front of some stores on Main Street, though there was not much foot traffic or even car traffic for that matter.
The snow is built up on the sidewalks, and in some areas it is almost completely covering the parking meters.
The conditions we are seeing on Friday morning are similar to those that we saw when the snow started on Thursday morning.
22News will continue to provide coverage of this winter storm throughout the day from Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Berkshire counties on-air, online, and on the go.
