Armed robbery at a Springfield CVS

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield Police are investigating an armed robbery at a CVS Pharmacy in East Springfield Monday night.

Springfield Police Lt. David Martin told 22News the call came in at 10:00 p.m. Monday that a suspect held a gun to a pharmacist’s head at the CVS at 970 Saint James Ave.

Lt. Martin said the robber got away with some unspecified medication and took off in a dark-colored car.

Lt. Martin said no one was hurt, but the pharmacist was shaken by the experience.
