CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) – On National Wear Red Day, by simply wearing red, you can help raise awareness of the number 1 killer of women, heart disease. Rhonda Hall, a Volunteer for the American Heart Association, and Nancy Urbschat, chair of the Go Red for Women Luncheon, shared more about their mission.
Go Red For Women Luncheon
Friday, March 7th
10:30AM – 2PM
500 Easthampton Road, Holyoke
Day includes: Educational breakout sessions, silent auction, heart healthy lunch and Keynote Speaker Theresa Lou Bowick
A woman at your table will have a “heart” story. Someone in your row at the breakout session will have found a way to eat baked, not fried, for her whole family. That exercise and diet plan you’ve been looking for, the one that is actually doable? The woman next to you in line for coffee is going to tell you to forget diets, and become a BetterU.
