(WWLP) – Tiffany Chan joined WWLP-22News in January 2014 as the State House Bureau Correspondent in Boston. She is the only television reporter in Massachusetts to work out of the State House on a daily basis. It allows her to interview top political figures when news happens – providing viewers with unique, in-depth coverage straight from Beacon Hill.
She has covered a wide range of topics – from the historic U.S. Supreme Court ruling legalizing same sex marriage, to several high profile tragedies linked to the state Department of Children and Families. She provided extensive coverage of former Governor Deval Patrick’s controversial proposal to shelter undocumented immigrant children in western Massachusetts.
Tiffany began her television career as an on-air student reporter for New England Cable News (NECN) while she was still in college. She is a graduate of Suffolk University, located just steps from the State House in Boston where she is currently reporting.
As a Boston resident, Tiffany loves to explore the city. She also enjoys visiting New England beaches in the summertime.
