(NBC News) – The White House warned us this speech would be different. It was a smaller agenda and one the President said he could begin to accomplish on his own. “America does not stand still and neither will I,” said the President.
President Obama says he’ll act alone to boost the economy, ease regulations to bring jobs back from overseas, build more manufacturing hubs, create retirement savings for workers whose employers don’t offer them, and raise the minimum wage to $10.10 for new federal contractors.
He urged business owners and Congress to do the same.
