Ludlow residents lose power after crash

Driver suffered injuries; 30 WMECo customers lost power

LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Ludlow Police were investigating a single car accident Wednesday night, where a driver crashed his car into a utility pole, leaving several people without power.

According to Ludlow Police Sgt. Michael Brennan, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on Parker and Miller Street. The driver crashed the car into a utility pole and knocked out power for about 30 WMECo customers.

The driver suffered minor injuries said Sgt. Brennan.

WMECo was called to the scene and restored the power for all Ludlow residents.
