Ludlow residents lose power after crash

LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Ludlow Police are investigating a single car accident where a driver crashed his car into a utility pole Wednesday night, leaving several people without power.

According to Ludlow Police Sgt. Michael Brennan, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on Parker and Miller Street. The driver crashed the car into a utility pole and knocked out power for about 30 WMECo customers.

The driver suffered minor injuries, non-life threatening said Sgt. Brennan.

WMECo was called to the scene and restored the power for all Ludlow residents.
