GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Firefighters were able to put out a fire at the Franklin Regional Transit Authority’s garage in Greenfield in less then an hour Tuesday night.
Greenfield Deputy Fire Chief Edwards Jarvis told 22News firefighters were called to 382 Deerfield Street around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Jarvis said one of the buses inside the garage was
engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
It took firefighters about 45 minutes to put out the fire out. The State Fire Marshall has been called in to Greenfield to investigate the cause of this fire.
