About Cleo:

Are you looking for a good first dog? Then I might be your gal! I’m sweet and gentle and would love to find a home where I can blossom. I’m a little shy right now, but with a little encouragement from you, I open right up.  It comes from all this traveling I’ve done recently:  See, I’m a Dixie dog, which means I came up from a Southern shelter that was way too crowded to find a new home in this beautiful place. I love to snuggle and play fetch, so long as I’m with you. Think we might make a good match? Come meet me at Dakin in Springfield today.  I’m sure we will get along wonderfully!

My foster family in Texas said I was completely housetrained, I walk well on a leash, am very patient, calm, and loyal.  In other words, I’m just an all around great dog.

It’s National Dog Training month, so it’s a great time to celebrate that with me.
If you’d like to meet me or know more about me, come on down to Dakin in Springfield and let’s get acquainted.
