HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - The last thing most of us look forward to is a fresh blast of arctic air, with the cold made more intense by the wind chill factor.
But that’s what Western Massachusetts can expect after a brief reprieve on Monday.
Some people out in the cold on Sunday claim this is what to expect, since we live here in New England.
But even some lifelong residents here in Greater Springfield told 22News that enough is enough. Too much cold weather has gotten unbearable.
“No I’m not ready for it, I run from door to door to the car door. I don’t like the cold at all my whole life. I’m moving to Florida, Hawaii,” said Emily Stevenson of Holyoke.
I’m not really worried about it. I’m from New England, we’re had these hard times before so If worse comes to worse. put on an extra layer an we’ll be alright,” said Edward Gutierrez of Holyoke.
Actually most people 22News spoke with who were out in the cold Sunday shared Edward Gutierrez’s reaction to the non-stop cold weather. More than a few raised the point, after all this is New England.
