Family forced out of Agawam home by fire

AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP)- A mid-morning fire damaged the basement in an Agawam home Thursday.

Agawam Deputy Fire Chief Calvi told 22News that the house at 51 Faymore Drive also had smoke and water damage in the first floor.

According to Deputy Chief Calvi, the residents will be unable to live there for the time being.

Firefighters were called shortly after 10:00 A.M.
