(WWLP) – Adam has been working at 22News now for more than 17 years. While in elementary school, Adam became interested in weather and television. In fact, his childhood dream was to work at 22News.
Adam grew up watching 22News’ first meteorologist, John Quill. John was a western Massachusetts icon that generations of WWLP viewers grew up watching. John inspired Adam at a young age, and it was an honor for him to have worked with such a legend.
Adam is a Westfield native. He is a graduate of Westfield High School and he attended Lyndon State College in Vermont. While in college, Adam was an intern in both the news and weather departments here at 22News.
Adam was hired at 22News in 1996, and first worked behind the scenes in the news department as the evening assignment editor. He then worked on the WWLP.com website in its early days updating the news and weather content on the site.
While working on WWLP.com, Adam started doing fill-in weather on 22News in the summer of 1997. In 1998, Adam became the weekend evening meteorologist on 22News.
In addition to doing the weekend weather, Adam also serves as a weather reporter and still updates the WWLP.com website on the weekends.
Adam resides in Westfield. He is an avid Star Wars fan and collector and a model train enthusiast.
