AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) – What’s a game of football without a basket of wings?
22News stopped by EB’s in Agawam where they’ve been busy serving up order after order of tasty and tangy Buffalo wings.
It’s a football staple food, along with beer and chips.
EB’s told 22News they always get excited when a hometown team makes it far into the postseason because that means big business.
Doug Read, an EB’s employee, told 22News, “It’s busy. It’s busy. That’s why we recommend people to call ahead, especially with the Super Bowl coming up. It’s great to per-order.”
Don Moreau of Agawam said to 22News, “Oh yeah, every year. That’s one of the appetizers that we get while watching. A bunch of wings.”
Every Sunday, EB’s offers wing specials; including $2 off an order of 20 wings. They’ve been in business since 1986.
They estimate they’ve cooked about 7,000 wings Sunday.
